Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrival in Delhi [227m/745ft]

Welcome to Delhi, the capital of India. Once you arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport of New Delhi, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to hotel. After refreshment, you will be introduced to your guide who will give briefing regarding the itinerary. Delhi has been in the center of power since bygone days. One can experience beautiful harmony in between traditions and modernity in Delhi that is not evident in any other parts of India. Enjoy your free time. Visit India Gate in the evening.

Day 02 - Sightseeing of Delhi [227m/745ft]

After breakfast, we will begin the full day Sightseeing in Delhi. Different Mughal architectural marvels cluster the Old Delhi city. We will start the tour by visiting Qutab Minar Complex. Stretched over vast expanse of area, Alai Darwaza is one of the highlights in this area. This gateway dates back to 13th century AD. Our next stop will be at Humanyun’s Tomb which is the UNESCO enlisted site in Delhi. This tomb is compared to wonder of the world- Taj Mahal in its design. Other attractions in Delhi include India Gate, President House and other major government buildings. In Old Delhi, we will visit Jama Masjid, the Mosque and Red Fort, a modern edifice near to Yamuna River. We will visit Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Ground (Samadhisthal) in Rajghat before returning to hotel.

Day 03 - Delhi to Jaipur [431m/1,415ft]

Leaving Delhi hotel, we will take private vehicle to Jaipur which is the capital of Rajasthan. Jaipur is also popular as the Pink City. Delhi to Jaipur section passes through Agra to Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is the city that was built by Akbar Emperor. Moving further, we will reach Jaipur. Our next stop will be at Jal Mahal which is located in Man Sagar Lake. We will visit Palace of Winds in the evening and stay in hotel in Jaipur.

Day 04 - Sightseeing in Jaipur [431m/1,415ft]

Amber Fort, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Wind) and Albert Hall are places of interest in Jaipur. We will begin our Jaipur Tour by visiting Amber Fort where we can enjoy elephant ride. We will also visit Kanak Vrindavan Temple. We will explore palaces and museum and observe antique paintings and murals. We will visit Jantar Mantar which is the medieval observatory. In the evening, we will return to our hotel in Jaipur for overnight stay.

Day 05 - Drive to Agra [171m/562ft]

Leaving Jaipur early in the morning, we will return to Agra via the UNESCO site of Fatehpur Sikri. In Fatehpur Sikri, we will visit Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other edifices and then move on to Agra where we will stay in hotel. Agra Fort is the place of interest in Agra.

Day 06 - Drive back to Delhi [227m/745ft]

We will visit Taj Mahal on this day. Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This amazing marble building was built by Emperor Shah Jehan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. From Agra, we will return to Delhi and stay overnight in hotel

Day 07 - Fly to Kathmandu [1,350m/4,430ft]

After breakfast, our representative will take us to airport from where we will board a flight from Delhi to Kathmandu. It takes 1 hour and 35minutes of pleasant flight to reach Tribhuvan International Airport. Our representative will greet us in airport and we will escort you to your hotel. You are on your own. Enjoy your stay in Kathmandu.

Day 08 - Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu [1,350m/4,430ft]

Full Day Kathmandu Tour will be organized on this day during which you will be exploring different UNESCO sites in Kathmandu. There are altogether 10 UNESCO sites in Nepal and you will find it amazing that seven UNESCO sites exist in Kathmandu Valley alone at mere radius of 20km distance. We will begin our tour with visit to Pashupatinath which is the most sacred Hindu temple of Nepal. We will witness Hindu cremation ceremony on the Aryaghat that is located at the edge of Bagmati River. We will visit Nepal’s largest Buddhist stupa of Bouddhanath. We can see rich Tibetan culture in Bouddhanath. Our next stop will be at Kathmandu Durbar square which is the ancient Royal Residence of Nepal. Kumari Ghar- the home of Living Goddess, Kasthamandap Temple, Kal Bhairav Statue and Hanuman Dhoka Museum are places of interest in Kathmandu Durbar Square. We will take leisure walk in the tourist hub and ultimate shopping destination of Thamel via notoriously busiest Ason market before returning back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 09 - Drive to Pokhara [827m/2,714ft]

Kathmandu is separated from Pokhara by 200km distance. Following Prithvi Highway, we will visit Pokhara. The route is scenic as journey continues through countryside area. Enroute, we can get views of Trishuli River and Cable Car taking pilgrims to the Mankamana Temple- the wish fulfilling goddess. We will reach Pokhara in 5 hrs. Pokhara is the clean and green city. We will visit Phewa Lake in the evening. Boating in Phewa Lake is the pleasant activity. We will row boats to Tal Barahi Temple that exists at the center of Phewa Lake. The reflection of Fishtail Mountain can be seen in this large lake.

Day 10 - Early morning drive to Sarangkot and Full day sightseeing of Pokhara [827m/2,714ft]

After wake up call, we will take 30minutes of ride at dawn to reach the base of Sarankot hill. After following the moderately steep route uphill, we will reach to the top. Sarankot hill is popular for its best sunrise view over Annapurna from Pokhara. We can also get panoramic views of Pokhara valley, its lakes and surrounding mountains including Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and Manaslu from Sarangkot. Sarangkot is the starting point for extreme sports like ultra-light and paragliding. We will return to hotel for breakfast and then participate in Full Day Sightseeing of Pokhara. We will begin the tour with visit to Davis Fall. Locally called Patale Chhago (meaning waterfall reaching to the abyss), this is the point where water from Pardi River drops down into the tunnel and vanishes underground. Next, we will visit World peace pagoda which is locally known as Shanti Stupa. It is located at elevation of 1100m perched atop the Ananda Hill. Along with being located in serene surrounding, the place is also famous for its views of Annapurna Mountain and Phewa Lake. We will conclude the day tour with visit to International Mountain Museum. Stay overnight in hotel.

Day 11 - Fly back to Kathmandu and half day sightseeing to Bhaktapur [1,350m/4,430ft]

We will take an early morning flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. It takes 20 minutes of scenic flight to reach Kathmandu. We can enjoy aerial views of Langtang, Annapurna and other peaks and mountains throughout the flight. After lunch, we will drive to Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is the medieval Newari town. We will visit UNESCO site of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. We will explore the courtyards of the ancient Royal Residence. The earthquake of 2015 has left its traces in this heritage site as well. Much of the temples have been partially or completely destroyed. We can still visit Golden Gate, Pottery Square and Dattatreya Square. After Half Day Sightseeing, we will return to Kathmandu.

Day 12 - International departure

You will be assisted in your last minute preparation. Our representative will take you to Tribhuvan International Airport three hours before your scheduled flight. Safe Journey!! We hope to see you again.
