Highland Expeditions fulfilled my lifelong dream of trekking to the Basecamp. It was an amazing experience right from the moment I connected with Passang to inquire about the trek. The group was very well organized and made sure we are safe and got all the possible amenities despite the scarcity of resources; especially as you go to higher elevations past Dingboche. Passang, Akash, Mingama and Karma in particular did an amazing job of making the trek a fun experience. What I like most about Highland Expeditions is their flexibility and ability to customize your trekking experience even if you are in a group. They carry oxygen tanks and keep a very close eye on the group’s physical state and adjust plans accordingly. I will definitely recommend them over anyone else. Hoping to do a few more hikes with them in the near future with my family.
