As well before as during the trip Passang and his team have done their utmost to prepare and run everything as smoothly and conveniently as possible. We trekked all the way up to Everest Base Camp – our guide and support from Highland Expeditions made it all possible – while other trekkers were left at the airport we made it up on the mountain and the same coming back. Simply excellent service!!

The 2 people who made my trip to EBC an amazing & unforgettable experience were Aakash & Raj. Aakash’s kindness was truly humbling as was Raj’s smile & strength & had a smile on his face every day rain or shine. On arrival back in the UK, I thought to myself who was the happiest – them or us? I still don’t know.

All around great experience with Highland Expeditions. They took everything very seriously from the start. I did a solo trip and they arranged a bit of a custom journey for me. Guide (Ang) was very knowledgeable and very engaging. An extra plus is he is a great photographer as well. Would strongly recommend it.

We booked our hike to EBC with highland expedition. Owner ( Passang) was always available to answer any question prior to trip. He organised highly skilled team of guides and porters. Two of the guides were Arjun and Koonga. They displayed amazingly detailed knowledge about the area but not just that they were so familiar with altitude sickness. During course of hike, most in our group experienced altitude sickness. They were ready with remedies.
I can’t recommend highland expedition highly enough. If you can get team of Arjun, Koonga and Jeet. This trio is just amazing, goes above and beyond for your comfort.

Passang was an excellent resource before and during the trip. Guides Arjun, Kunga and Jeet were great, very knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable and successful.

I booked the Khumbu 3 Peaks trek before Covid and finally got the opportunity to complete the experience in April / May. The expectation of the trip was surpassed by the organizational expertise of Passang and Highland Expeditions. From the minute the first email was promptly replied to, through the whole trek until the departure for home, I was so well looked after. Our guides were top drawer, having multiple summits of 8,000 metre mountains between them. Our porters were brilliant. The trip was tough, be prepared, but Highland Expeditions will do all they can to make your dreams come true.. I would so highly recommend them. They have the experience and contacts to tip the balance in favour of their clients..thank you Passang and all the Highland Expeditions team.

We planned and prepared quite a bit for our EBC Trek, but we could not possibly have known all of the details and nuances of the trek. For this reason, we were extremely blessed and fortunate to have chosen Highland Expeditions as our tour guide. Passang, who leads the company, provided us with all the information that we needed and once we were in Nepal, He took care of every detail that including anything we needed with the hotel, covid tests, or any special arrangement. He was always there and clearly cared very much for our well being. Once on the Trek, we are given equally good care by Arjun, Kunga and Jeet whose thoughtfulness and caring for our well being was very much appreciated. Due in great part to the support that we received, we all made it to base camp without injury. We are a senior group and we all consider the trip a great success. We are very grateful to Highland Expeditions for all of their efforts. I give them the highest possible recommendation!
