Manaslu Expedition 2024 success

We are excited to share that our Manaslu Expedition team successfully reached the true summit of Mt. Manaslu (8163m) this morning, on 25th September. The team summited between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM NPT. Huge congratulations to everyone involved, and a special thanks to our amazing Sherpa team and support staff for making this achievement possible!

Here are the details of the summiting team members:

  1. Dr. Sebastian Frohlich (Germany)
  2. Rachel Lee Boim (USA)
  3. Su Li Hsun (Taiwan, China). With this ascent, Su Li Hsun has made history as the first male Taiwanese climber to stand on the true summit of Manaslu.
  4. Sangey Sherpa
  5. Lakpa Dorji Thapa Magar
  6. Pasang Nima Sherpa
  7. Pasang Sherpa
  8. Sonam Chhiring Sherpa

In addition, Stephen A. Mills, one of our clients attempting to climb Manaslu without the use of supplemental oxygen, made an impressive push, reaching an altitude of 8000m with our guide Man Bdr Tamang before before making the difficult decision to turn back, showcasing an extraordinary effort in high-altitude climbing.

At this moment, our team members are making their descent back to base camp and are expected to arrive at base camp by tomorrow.
