A Demanding yet Beautiful Adventure on the Manaslu Circuit
A Demanding yet Beautiful Adventure on the Manaslu Circuit
We did the Manaslu circuit trek with Highland Expeditions and were very happy with the excellent organisation of the whole trip and the professionalism and friendliness of everyone involved – from management to guide, porter and drivers. The trek was very demanding and challenging, but also stunningly beautiful. Our wonderful guide Angrita was always helpful and patient when we were struggling and looked after us really well. Porter Angnuru took very good care of our luggage while also being incredibly fast. I highly recommend booking any Nepal trip with Highland expeditions. Hopefully, we will be back for another trek with them one day!

In addition, Stephen A. Mills, one of our clients attempting to climb Manaslu without the use of supplemental oxygen, made an impressive push, reaching an altitude of 8000m with our guide Man Bdr Tamang before before making the difficult decision to turn back, showcasing an extraordinary effort in high-altitude climbing.
At this moment, our team members are making their descent back to base camp and are expected to arrive at base camp by tomorrow.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that our Manaslu Expedition 2025 is confirmed and will commence on 3rd September 2025. For those aspiring to summit their first 8000m peak, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a guided expedition on one of the world’s iconic mountains.
